Hello! My name is Robert and I recently quit my job to travel the world. I started RoverBob to share my travel stories, photos, and give YOU the inspiration to follow your dreams.

For years I sat behind a desk wondering what was left to be discovered. I was doing well for myself. I had a high paying job and a nice apartment by the beach. You know, the “American Dream” as they say. I was walking the line, but this just wasn’t me. Before I knew it, days turned into weeks, into months, and into years.

This was until recently when I could no longer suppress my wanderlust. I decided it was time to actually start doing what I’d always dreamed about. I now live searching for new experiences, exploring new countries, tasting exotic food, and meeting new people. Let the adventure begin!

Where Have I Been?

Not nearly as many places as I’d like. I’ve been to Austria, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Fiji, France, Japan, Hungary, Norway, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Thailand, and Ukraine. But you know what, this list will continue exponentially expanding!

Where Am I Going?

Over the next few months I’ll be in:

North Carolina (December & January) – spending some time with family during the holidays.

Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho (late January) – Yellowstone Snowmobile trip.

Western U.S. and Canada (February to April) – Mountain Collective Ski road trip. I’ll also be stopping off at a few national parks along the way.

Beyond – not entirely sure yet, but I’m thinking an international trip to Japan, China, Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.

If you’re going to be in any of these locations, send me an email or message on social media (see contact info below) if you’d like to meetup or if you have any recommendations.

There’s so many places I’d like to go. This list will be changing, so check back soon!
